Allow plenty of time for travelling to the interview allowing time for possible traffic delays.

Timing is important

If you arrive more than 10 minutes early for your interview, wait in a convenient place close to the interview location (ie: wait in your car in the company car park). Do not be tempted to report to the interview!! A 30 minutes wait in the reception area can seem like to an eternity plus you may meet a competitor candidate with who you may not wish to engage in conversation with. Remember you may say something that could give your competitor a last minute advantage.

Arrive late at your peril

The last thing you want to do at an interview is to start the proceedings with an apology. Arriving late will leave you stressed and you will not perform to your best ability. Again, arrive on time, relaxed and prepared to interview.
